Varsity vs Churubusco Jr-Sr High School (49 - 14) Win The Bremen Lions put together a dominant performance Friday night, defeating the Churubusco Eagles 49-14 behind an explosive offensive attack and a relentless defensive effort. Jake Rodriguez led the Lions offense, accounting for 123 yards and three touchdowns. Logan Moser added 111 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Jace Pippinger continued to make plays all over the field with 88 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, while also returning a kickoff for a touchdown. While the offense found the end zone seven times, the Lions defense was just as impressive. From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, Bremen played with tremendous effort and physicality. The Pride of Lions stood strong all night, flying to the football, playing together, and refusing to let up. Axel Mendoza was 7/7 on extra points for the night. The Lions return to action at home next week with a 7pm kickoff.
